Direct to Garment (DTF)
Direct to Garment printing, also known as digital apparel printing is a modern apparel printing option using a modified inkjet printer to print the design on the apparel. The specialized textile ink prints the artwork directly on the substrate much like your inkjet printer at home prints on a piece of paper.
This method of printing is great if your design has multiple colors or you are wanting just a couple of highly detailed shirts. When placing an order or requesting a quote, our highly trained staff will help determine which printing option is best for your needs.
Turnaround time: Our standard turnaround time for DTG is 14-21 days after you give final order approval. The turnaround time does not include delivery or shipping. If you need your order by a certain date, please be very specific with deadlines when obtaining your quote.
On occasion, we can accommodate rush orders, but this option is not always available and additional fees will apply.
Direct to Film (DTF)
“Direct to Film” or “Digital Transfer Film.” is a printing process that involves transferring digital designs directly onto fabric using a special film. Designs are created digitally on a computer using graphic design software. The digital designs are then printed onto a special transfer film using a DTF printer. This printer is capable of printing high-quality, full-color designs.
The printed film is then applied to the garment, and heat is used to transfer the design from the film to the fabric using a heat press. The heat combined with pressure activates the adhesive on the film, allowing it to bond with the fabric.
